Parents

At Feckenham we value the role of parents as your child’s first and foremost educator, and believe in developing a partnership in order to best support your child.

All parents and new pupils are invited to visit the school before admission.  All parents are issued with a copy of the ‘Home/School Liaison’ booklet when their child enters school.

The school operates an “open door” policy and encourages parents to speak with teachers whenever there is a concern. Teachers make themselves readily available – after school is usually less busy than before. Each teacher is willing to make an appointment to see parents at any convenient time. The Headteacher is also available for informal chats on the playground before and after school – when not teaching -  or by appointment via the school office.

The school is lucky to have dedicated active fund-raising parents working hard to raise extra funds for the school.  If you feel you can help the school in any way, please offer your services.
